Saudi Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Alkhorayef met with Dimas Douglas Tomelin, vice president of strategy and innovation at Brazilian aerospace company Embraer, recently in Sao Paolo, Brazil.
They explored opportunities to enhance collaboration between the two sides and discussed leveraging Embraer’s expertise in aircraft manufacturing, assembly, and maintenance to enhance the Saudi aerospace industry, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Wednesday.
Alkhorayef toured Embraer’s facilities, namely Gaviao Peixoto, Ozires Silva and Eugenio de Melo, which manufacture commercial, military and electric aircraft.
