Six Saudi ambassadors-designate on Tuesday swore an oath before King Salman at Arqa Palace in Riyadh, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
The officials were: Princess Haifa Al-Mogrin (ambassador-designate to Spain), Ghazi bin Faisal Binzagr (Japan), Majed bin Abdulaziz Al-Abdan (Hungary), Fayez bin Meshal Al-Tamyaat (Mauritius), Mohammed bin Khalil Falooda (Uganda) and Rami bin Saud Al-Otaibi (Bulgaria).
They each recited the words: “I swear by Allah Almighty to be loyal to my religion, king and homeland, not to divulge any of the state’s secrets, to maintain its interests and regulations internally and externally, and to perform my duties with honesty, integrity and sincerity.”
Saudi Deputy Foreign Minister Waleed Elkhereiji and the assistant special secretary of the king, Tamim bin Abdulaziz Al-Salem, were also present.
