The Ministry of Information recently hosted a traveling cybersecurity awareness exhibit organized by the National Cybersecurity Authority at the ministry’s headquarters in Riyadh, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Wednesday.
The event aimed to enhance the values of preserving national security, raising awareness about cybersecurity and building a strong cyber culture.
The exhibit, organized by the authority in cooperation with several government agencies, is part of the activities for International Cybersecurity Awareness Month, which takes place in October each year.
The event reflects the importance of cybersecurity at the national level, highlights behaviors that contribute to protection against cyber risks, and provides a live simulation of cyberattacks on individuals and organizations.
It aims to evaluate the level of cybersecurity awareness and explain safe practices using interactive methods. Additionally, it offers consultations and general recommendations in line with best practices in the workplace to mitigate the risks associated with the digital environment.
