Bahrain’s crown prince and prime minister, Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, met with Britain’s Prince William, the Prince of Wales, at Windsor Castle on Tuesday, state news agency BNA reported.
The meeting took place on the sidelines of the Bahraini royal’s official visit to the UK.
He highlighted the strength of British-Bahraini ties, which span over 200 years, adding that they would continue to deepen, in line with the aspirations of Bahrain’s King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
The crown prince also conveyed the greetings of the King to King Charles III and to Prince William.
The Bahraini crown prince also noted the importance of strengthening bilateral cooperation across various fields to reach shared aspirations.
Regional and international issues of common interest were discussed.
