A chicken bone got stuck in her throat… she got rid of it in a “strange way”

A New Zealand woman, while visiting a restaurant, suffered from a chicken bone that got stuck in her throat and made it difficult for him to breathe, only to be surprised when she visited the emergency department in the hospital that the treatment lies in drinking a large amount of cola.

Beth Brash said that the story began with her visit to a restaurant to try a new chicken dish, and while eating the dish, she felt a tickle in her throat caused by the presence of a chicken bone in her throat.

Brash resisted for several days, but she couldn’t bear it, so she went to the emergency room, and the paramedics told her that she could drink cola to get rid of her.
She went to the shopping mall and bought four cans of cola, which she drank in succession, only to be amazed later that she really got rid of her annoying feeling.

Dr. Brian Beatty said she had never encountered this treatment before, but added that it was “a well-known fact that cola is an acidic drink that can dissolve bones, so it clearly got the job done without the need for surgery and that’s a good thing.”
