As a result of the accident, 20 people were killed and 29 injured. The security authorities closed Aqaba to facilitate the passage of the Civil Defense and Red Crescent teams to the site of the terrible accident, while the bodies and the injured were transferred to hospitals, and the competent authorities are still investigating the causes of the accident.
