Lebanese Actress Nour: I am not afraid of repeating the role of the doctor in my work

Do not be afraid to present any character, even if you presented it more than once. In the recent works that she presented, she repeatedly presented the character of the “doctor”, although she was able to make her different in every work she presented, including Dr. Alia in “Nabil Al-Jamil, the plastic specialist” and “Doctor Maryam”. Al-Safty” in the second part of the “Family Theme” series, and even in her new movie “The Ruby House”, the Lebanese Nour confirmed in her interview with “Al-Arabiya.net” that she will also present the character of a doctor in this film, and that she is not afraid to repeat the character because she is well prepared for it. Especially since she had previously performed in “Dalal Ragel” and “Regain Ya Hoi” and received mixed reactions for each role she played.

*Your latest series, “Family Mawdoo3” achieved great success, so how did you find the reactions to your role?

I was very happy with the great reactions that the series achieved, because I did not expect all this success, and I was terrified of people’s interaction with the new part of the work, because for me it was a very big responsibility, because the audience was very attached to the events and interacted with the characters after showing the first part To work, and that is why we were in a state of anxiety because the audience made a comparison between the first and second parts, but after showing it, I was surprised by everything that I received from the audience, but rather their request for a third part of the series, which increased my happiness.

* You presented the character of the doctor in many works, so what is the difference this time?

I am fortunate because the director, Ahmed El-Gendy, chose me for the character of Dr. Maryam, a neurosurgeon, in the events of the second part. The character is written in a distinctive way, as if she is an essential part of the fabric of events, and she is very similar to me. She speaks spontaneously and quickly, which is what motivated me to participate in the work, and the character It is compatible with the events and enters the lives of all the characters, especially Ibrahim, so that the viewer feels that Mary is an essential part of the events. There was a special mixture of writing, directing and producing that is the main reason for the audience’s association with the series.

* And how did you find working with the artist Majid Al-Kadwani?

It was very interesting, as I was pleased to work with him and the work team, especially that he helped me and the director, Ahmed El-Gendy, to quickly integrate with the work family, which made me enter the character quickly, and they also had a great role in reassuring me after I had a state of anxiety at the beginning, and they helped me to integrate Quickly, the scenes of the work were full of warmth and fun, which helped the character and role come out well and won the audience’s admiration.

Was the presence of a successful first part the reason for your presence during the second part?

* This is part of the reasons for my presence in the second part of the series, and I also did not find that my role in the series is separate from the events, but rather woven naturally into the events and carries wit in its details, which made it a real challenge, and encouraged me to participate in the work, and indeed it was an option Good for me after the show, although at first I was somewhat apprehensive about whether the new part of the series would be able to continue the success of the first part, and I was surprised by the extent of the audience’s interaction with my role, as it was a challenge for me, as you indicated.

* And what did you find in the personality of Maryam and the experience of the series as well?

That experience held me with a great responsibility towards the audience, especially since the character is new, and has a romantic relationship with the hero they love, and it is certainly not easy for the audience to accept you, if the character is not special.

From the movie “The Ruby’s House”

* What do you think about the idea of displaying on platforms, especially since it has become widespread?

It has come to occupy an important part in the drama industry all over the world, and it has also achieved a state of movement in that industry. The field has witnessed a great development, and the dramatic season is no longer confined to Ramadan only. There are many television works that have achieved great success outside the Ramadan season, which is It is a matter to be reckoned with, and the fact is that the platforms are witnessing a huge boom in the content of the works that they provide, and in the end it is in the interest of the viewers and raising the quality of the works presented.

* Let’s go back a little to the movie “Nabil Gemayel, a plastic surgeon”, and how did you find that experience?

I was very happy with it, and with the audience’s reactions to it, as the work deals with an important issue, which is the “obsession” of some with plastic surgery, and the distortion that sometimes results from it as a result of greed. More profits, and not for medical reasons, especially since there are teenagers who resort to it with the aim of imitation only.

* How did you find cooperation with Mohamed Heneidy for the first time through this film?

I was very happy to cooperate with him, as he presents a spontaneous and not contrived comedy, and his cheerful personality is not much different from his films, and he is able to make us laugh even in the most difficult circumstances during filming, and I felt very happy with this cooperation, as he dealt with me in a state of friendliness, as if we had been working together for a long time .

* In this work, you also presented the role of Dr. Alia, tell us about her?

The character here combines comedy and tragedy, and believes that medicine is a sublime message that aims to alleviate the suffering of patients, unlike her father, who works with him in his private hospital and aims only to collect money, which leads to many conflicts between them, and she was keen to present it in a different way than it was presented before. Through the television screens, so I read the script well, and several discussions brought me together with the director during the period of preparation for the character’s exit in a distinctive, unconventional mold.

theater from you?

I love cinema, as it was the beginning of my acting career, and I love telephonic dramas, as a large part of my fame was achieved through it. The availability of a role that excites me and is suitable for me, I may go through the experience again, especially since acting in theater is completely different from cinema, and contributes to refining the talent of the actor.

* What’s new for you?

I continue to film my scenes in the movie “The Ruby House”, through which I embody the character of a wife and a doctor who resorts to stealing a child from the hospital in which she works in order to achieve the dream of motherhood, and deals with the incursion of digital platforms into public life and its impact through her blogger husband, and co-starring with me Karim Abdel Aziz and Tara Emad, directed by Peter Mimi, is scheduled to be released in theaters during the Eid al-Adha season.
