Recently, social media pioneers circulated a video showing worms falling in the Chinese capital, Beijing.
The video shows worms covering cars in Beijing, while people walk on the road carrying umbrellas.
Although the authorities did not talk about this phenomenon, many interpreted it in scientific ways, according to the British newspaper “Daily Star”.

Many of those who watched the video said that they are not worms, but rather “poplar” tree flowers, which, when they fall, resemble caterpillars.
Others cited an article by Mother Nature Network magazine, which said that strong winds sometimes cause worms and caterpillars to fly.
