Sputnik’s correspondent in Turkey reported that rescuers succeeded in pulling out a seven-year-old girl alive from the rubble of a destroyed house in Diyarbakir, Turkey.
The girl had spent more than seven hours under the rubble of a house in Bagilar, west of the city.
This morning, a 7.4-magnitude earthquake occurred, at 04.17 am, in Kahramanmaraş province in Turkey, and led to destruction in a number of cities in at least seven provinces, and Turkish Vice President Fuad Oktay said, earlier, that the earthquake that struck Turkey, killing 284 people and wounding nearly 2,500 others.
