The beloved of the Algerians returns to his homeland

The Algerian artist, Saleh Oukrut, returned to his homeland, on Saturday evening, after a two-year period he spent in France for treatment of three cancerous tumors. A smile on the faces of Algerians with his many works.

The veteran actor, known in the artistic community as “Sweileh”, had revealed in statements during direct contact with the journalist “Erben”, that he had returned to Algeria after a period of treatment that included a complex surgical procedure.

And the owner of the starring role in the “Ashour the Tenth” series, in a short live video, wrapped in a Palestinian keffiyeh and sitting in a wheelchair, and the smile does not leave him despite the effects of fatigue from the disease, added that he longed to return to the homeland after all this absence, to continue his chat that he had performed a difficult surgery that required him. He placed him in resuscitation for a month and a half, and the prayers of his fans and followers for recovery and a safe return helped him get out of his complex disease crisis circumstantially.

Sweileh did not stop smiling and expressing his happiness to be back with his family and fans, adding that the treatment journey is not over yet.
In turn, the artist’s wife, Fatima Belhadj, explained that Oqrut is tired, as he is still in a period of convalescence after the difficult stage of treatment he went through.

Saleh Ogrot traveled two years ago to France for treatment of cancerous tumors, accompanied by his wife, director Fatima Belhaj, as the country’s higher authorities ensured his transfer there on a private plane to receive the necessary treatment.
