A company advertising chocolate with “crunchy insect legs” is causing controversy

One of the famous chocolate manufacturing companies around the world, whose products are spread in some Arab countries, published a picture of one of its products showing locusts, which caused a wide interaction among followers.
And the company, “Ritter Sport”, for the manufacture of chocolate, shared the image on its official health on social media, as the image garnered a large number of criticisms.
Many commented on the post with expressions of disapproval, denunciation and rejection, while some confirmed that they would refrain from purchasing the company’s products in the future and boycott them permanently.

In turn, the “Lapsha” website linked this advertisement to some news reported by agencies in Europe, which claimed that “the European Union has begun to expand the use of insects in food. Such as the use of yellow worms and locusts, in addition to the brownie cockroach and buffalo worms.”

The sources indicated that this advertisement does not go beyond mere “joking”, and that the company followed this method on more than one occasion with its followers.
The sources pointed out that the company “Ritter Sport” had earlier published a lot of publications about fake versions such as chocolate with mustard, pickled cucumbers or beer.
Some followers took note of the funny post and urged others not to take this information seriously.
