Erol Musk, the father of billionaire and businessman, Elon Musk, has said that his son is obese and that he is not proud of him.
Musk, 76, added, in statements to the “Kyle and Jackie O” radio program in Australia, today, Monday, that he “is not proud of Elon because he invented technology that changed the rules of the game and became a billionaire from behind it,” according to the American “TMZ” website.
“You know, we’re a family that’s done a lot for a long time, and it’s not like we’ve suddenly started doing something,” he explained to the presenters.
Elon Musk’s father also indicated that his son, who was officially named the “richest man in the world”, was obese, after circulating pictures of him in bathing clothes while on vacation in Greece.
“Elon has a very strong build, but he eats poorly,” Erol Musk said, urging him to take a weight-loss product called Garcinia Cambogia.
Musk’s father added that he has a fleet of cars, but he does not own a single Tesla, which is the company his son runs.
“He’s frustrated with the progress and that’s understandable,” Musk said of his son. “I know it sounds crazy, but we tend to think that way as a family.”
And he added: “Elon is 50 years old now, and I still think of him as a little kid, but he’s 50 years old, I mean he’s an old man.”
