The Sun newspaper reported that a foreign tourist was stunned when he saw the bill for the shrimp dish he had eaten at a bar on the resort island of Mykonos.
The tourist pointed out that he knew that the prices of this restaurant were very high, although the rating of this establishment was relatively low, but all this did not embarrass the man who was very confident in himself and that he would not allow the employees there to deceive him.
“I was confident that if they tried to deceive me, I would ask them to stop messing around and tell me the real prices,” the newspaper quoted him as saying.
But the waiter did not give him a menu, but only listed the existing variety of dishes, and the man ordered two tequila, two beer, and six shrimp, which were brought to him.
After finishing the meal, the tourist received a bill of 425 euros. But he refused to pay more than 65 euros for what he ate and threatened to report the restaurant’s staff to the police.
