Jordanian broadcaster Ahlam al-Ajarmeh managed to retrieve her child, who was kidnapped in Istanbul, before a human smuggling gang transported him to Idlib in Syria.
The Jordanian broadcaster, residing in Turkey, wrote in a post on her Twitter account, which was attached to a video clip of the moment she met her son at the Bab al-Salama crossing on the Syrian-Turkish border, saying: “From 5/7/2022, the most difficult days of my life, my son was kidnapped. I do not know where twenty days without sleep, God suffices and He is the best agent.”

Al-Ajarmeh added that the Turkish authorities inside the country and northern Syria were able to identify the kidnappers, reach them, and find out the place to which her child was taken. I put him in danger of death.”
The Jordanian broadcaster thanked the Turkish authorities, the Jordanian embassy in Ankara, and all the parties that contributed to her son’s return to her, noting that “her heart burns over her son’s psychological state.”
