Zelensky is named after a type of marine invertebrate found in Ethiopia

Scientists have named a new species of marine invertebrates Ausichicrinites zelenskyyi in honor of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky.

And the scientific journal Royal Society Open Science indicates that the fossilized remains of this animal (Ausichicrinites zelenskyyi) were found by scientists in Ethiopia and named Zelensky in honor of his “courage and daring.”
It is reported that the remains of this animal date back to the Jurassic period (145-201 million years ago) and were sent in 2021 to Poland for detailed study.
