Western arms transfers to Ukraine constituted a golden opportunity for arms dealers, especially with the internal situation in Ukraine, the spread of chaos, armed extremist groups, and the weakness of the central authority. All this contributed to the emergence and spread of offers and advertisements for the sale of weapons on illegal electronic networks and black markets.
A global website specializing in the illegal sale of weapons, which has become a popular platform similar to the global black arms markets, revealed that in recent months, famous American weapons were sent to Ukraine to confront Russia, which are the Javelin anti-tank launchers.
It is clear from the offers presented that anyone can enter and choose the weapon that suits him, as the price of the American “Javelin” launcher with its shell amounted to about 30 thousand US dollars, in addition to many offers and discounts on European and American weapons that have become products for sale in the global electronic field.
Some of the photos that Sputnik managed to obtain revealed live chats between merchants and sellers directly.
One person wrote in the comments that he is disappointed with what is happening in Ukraine, especially the state of corruption and the situation in the country and the fact that he cannot speak the language he wants, noting that “Nazis and extremists are doing terrible things in Ukraine”.
He continues, asking: “Is it worth dying for this country?”
In the comment of another participant, he says that he sees no reason to fight in Ukraine alongside the Nazis and does not want to fight alongside NATO, which is why he decided to leave the country.

Within hours, the details and information of these networks and arms market platforms reached European officials, with the representative of the European Union Police Service, Jan Op Jane Orta, commenting on the matter that “police investigators have information about the trade in small and heavy weapons supplied to Ukraine.”
“A lot of caches were made near the borders of Ukraine, where weapons are stored for later smuggling,” he added.
According to the spokesman, Javelin anti-tank missiles are already being circulated and sold through advertisements on the Internet and black markets. He hoped that such advertisements would be “Russian propaganda” aimed at turning the European community against the supply of arms to Ukraine.
In a related context, Ukraine sent a request to the European police to provide compelling evidence of the sale of Western weapons on the black market.
The Minister of National Defense and Security Council of Ukraine, Alexei Danilov, said that the Ukrainian government is waiting for evidence from “Europol” confirming the smuggling of weapons to European countries.
“We expect to have a substantive conversation with Europol officials regarding facts and evidence related to statements about alleged cases of black market arms and military goods trade from Ukraine and we are very interested in the rapid exchange of information and immediate response,” he said.
