An American wave of anger after the racist behavior of the “Sesame World” doll

The manifestations of racism in the United States arouse the resentment of many, but a new video of a racist stance against children sparked a wave of outrage, prompting an “apology”.

An American mother published a video in which her little girl was subjected to racism, by one of the characters of the famous American “Sesame Street” program.

While the “Sesame Street” doll wandered in a carnival parade, interacting with the children, the doll decided to ignore the brown-skinned children, despite their calls to her and their enthusiasm to meet her.

The video spread widely, and received a wave of anger, even from famous personalities in the United States, which led to the spread of previous videos of “Sesame Street” dolls making racist manifestations and ignoring black children.

The old videos led to an angry reaction, which prompted the children’s program to apologize in an official statement.

The “Sesame Street” program said: “The Sesame Program is aware of the incident at the Sesame site in Philadelphia, and what the children were exposed to there is unacceptable.”

The statement confirmed that the administration of their center in Philadelphia will conduct an “anti-racism” training course for workers, and vowed that the center will take the necessary measures.
