Johnson receives a “gift of parting” and a “humiliating blow”

Sky News reported that members of the British government participated in the purchase of a “parting gift” for the resigned Prime Minister Boris Johnson.
The gift was the books of Winston Churchill, the former Prime Minister of Britain.

On the other hand, British media reported that the second round of discussions of the candidates for the British prime minister dealt a blow to Johnson: everyone remained silent about his future.
According to The Independent, none of the candidates has indicated a willingness to give the incumbent prime minister a seat in government, as they have been asked to raise their hands if they wish to include Johnson in their team, but no one has done so.
The Mirror described it as the “moment of violence” in the debate, while the Express said Johnson received a “humiliating blow”.
