The filming of the Chinese movie “Home Operation”, starring and producing the international star Jackie Chan, started in the Al-Hajar Al-Aswad area in the Syrian capital, Damascus.
The film is a Chinese-Emirati project produced by Chinese actor Jackie Chan, and its events revolve around the process of evacuating Chinese citizens, foreigners and diplomats, during the war that began in Yemen in 2015 while highlighting the humanitarian cooperation between the UAE and China in a precarious situation.
The film was scheduled to be filmed in the UAE, according to what the Chinese director Song Yinxi announced, explaining that when searching for locations to shoot this film, he was welcomed by the Emirati authorities and experts, and he was completely convinced when he saw the many studios, equipment and professional production staff in the Emirates.
The director of the Chinese film, Song Yinxi, posted on his personal account on “Instagram” several pictures during the past days from the filming sites of the work in Damascus.
It is noteworthy that this work is the first Chinese movie to be filmed in Syria, and it is possible that some Syrian stars will participate in the work, and among the nominated names is the artist Nisreen Tafesh.
