4 people died in the crash of a helicopter that was helping to extinguish a forest fire in America

4 people were killed when a police helicopter crashed in the US state of New Mexico, as they were returning from helping firefighters in the face of a forest fire.
The Bernalillo County Sheriffโ€™s Office said in a statement on its Twitter account that three members of the Police Departmentโ€™s office and one county fire department employee were on board the helicopter.

Police added that the plane crashed late Saturday near Las Vegas, New Mexico.
โ€œThere is no information on the presence of survivors,โ€ she said.
โ€œThese individuals were on their way back to Albuquerque after helping the firefighters with the East Mesa fire,โ€ she said.
Police confirmed that the investigation into the accident is still in its initial stages.
