The Ukrainian Special Communications and Information Protection Authority said that the Kyiv authorities will begin implementing a program to purchase large quantities of reconnaissance drones and train operators to use them.
The program will be called “The Drone Army”.
“We will assemble an army of drones for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. With the aim of strengthening the army and saving the lives of thousands of soldiers, the General Staff, the Ministry of Digital Affairs and the UNITED24 platform intend to launch the Drone Army project,” the authority wrote on its Telegram channel under the title “Eyes for the Military”.
According to her, there is talk of a comprehensive program that provides for the regular purchase of drones, their quick repair and replacement, as well as a training course for their supervisors.
