He replaced water with Pepsi for 20 years… and got rid of his addiction in a strange way

A supermarket worker has been addicted to soft drinks for two decades, but he finally managed to quit this addiction in a strange way.

Andy Currie, 41, from Bangor, Wales, said he had been drinking the equivalent of 30 cans of Pepsi for 20 years, according to the British newspaper, Daily Mail.

In a sign that reflects his addiction to this soft drink, he mentioned that he used to drink a liter of “Pepsi” after waking up every day.

This habit cost him about $24 a day and about $8,500 a year.

The British man expressed his enjoyment of the taste of the soft drink, pointing out that he became addicted to it when he was in his twenties.

He pointed out that he was working during the night in the major retail chain “Tesco”, so he constantly needed sugar to stay alert.

He revealed that he used to drink 4 to 5 cans of “Pepsi” with a capacity of two liters per day, and after he finished his work, he would take quantities of soft drinks home from the stores.
He admitted that this habit cost him a lot, equivalent to “a fortune”, as he could buy a car every year with the money he spends on soft drinks.

After Chiuri’s addiction became rampant, he decided to take action, especially as doctors warned him of the possibility of diabetes, especially since he managed to lose some weight, but he could not resist drinking Pepsi.

In an attempt to break out of this addiction, Curie contacted London doctor and hypnologist David Kilmore, who concluded that he had a disorder that made him addicted to food.

“After just one session of online hypnotherapy that lasted for 40 minutes, he recovered and was able to drink a glass of water for the first time in two decades, after he was completely exposed to it,” Currie said.

After 4 weeks of this move, he lost a significant amount of weight.

He said, “David met me online and hypnotized me for about 40 minutes. I don’t know what he said but after that I didn’t want to drink it anymore.”

As for the attending physician, he said, “Curie’s addiction was by far the worst sugar addiction I’ve ever heard. This type of addiction is very dangerous and puts tremendous stress on your vital organs.”
