Once again, the war of words between the American star Johnny Depp and his ex-wife, actress Amber Heard, returned, but this time outside the corridors of the court, after Heard responded to a statement published by Depp, saying that it made “women’s rights regress.”
After Johnny Depp won the 6-week trial against his ex-wife, Amber Heard, the star gained overwhelming popularity on social media, especially the Tik Tok app.
And Deeb decided to join the application, to create an account on it and enjoy the follow-up of more than 9 million people, who were keen to thank them, and other fans of it, for their support.
Deeb posted a video clip on his Instagram account, which includes clips showing people’s support for him, commenting: “To all my most appreciated, loyal and steadfast supporters. We were together everywhere, we saw everything together, we took the same road together, and we did the right thing together, And it’s all because you cared.
He added, “Now, we’ll go forward (forward) together. You are, as always, my employers, and once again I cannot thank you enough, other than to say thank you, so thank you. With my love and respect, Johnny Depp.”
Not long after, Heard responded to her ex-husband’s comment, with a statement issued by her spokesperson, which said: “While Johnny Depp says he is moving forward, women’s rights are regressing.”
“The message of the ruling (the court ruling) to victims of domestic violence is ‘Be afraid to stand up for yourself and speak out,'” she added in the statement.
