A short interview with Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman, Maria Zakharova, while returning from a tour in Saudi Arabia, and he asked her a question about the outfit she wore during the visit.
During the interview, Nasr told the Russian official, “You accompanied the Russian Foreign Minister during his visit to Saudi Arabia in this beautiful dress, and the Saudis admired your appearance, and they asked you a question, who helped you choose clothes?”
For her part, Zakharova replied, “The dress I wore was a Russian national manufacture, and the abaya was helped by the Russian embassy staff in Saudi Arabia, and I think it was a good choice.”
She said that she wore this outfit out of respect for Saudi traditions and the reforms that the kingdom has been undertaking in the interest of women in the recent period.
