On the occasion of the Platinum Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II, images from each decade of her reign are displayed on the stones of Stonehenge, which was built by the ancient British around 2500 BC.
The organization that manages the historic landmark Stonehenge, honored Queen Elizabeth on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of her accession to the throne, and displayed pictures of her on the famous rock structure, which is one of the most famous landmarks in England.
“We combined two British icons to celebrate the Platinum Anniversary. We showed eight Queen Elizabeth II selfies on Stonehenge,” the english heritage account tweeted.
The tweet was accompanied by a video of the process of lighting the stones.

Among the eight pictures shown on Stonehenge, the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II in 1953, and another during her visit to Mexico in 1975.
For the same occasion, a new photo of the Queen was released.
