The Lebanese actress, Elissa, sparked an interaction on social media, today, Tuesday, due to a “slip of the tongue” while speaking at a press conference.
Social media users circulated a video of Elissa during her speech at the conference to launch the “Bridges” initiative in cooperation with the United Nations Economic and Social Committee for Western Asia “ESCWA”, held in Jordan. She said “potato” instead of “unemployment”, but she quickly reformed the word.
Elissa explained jokingly with the present audience that her “slip of the tongue” will become the talk of social media, so that the audience laughs and applauds her.

Today, Tuesday, the work of the first Arab Forum for Equality in the Jordanian capital, Amman, concluded under the auspices of the United Nations Commission “ESCWA”, which was launched on Monday, under the title “Towards Inclusive Employment for Young Men and Women in the Arab Region”.
The forum aims to provide a regional platform for Arab countries to meet periodically in order to discuss the main issues related to inequality in an integrated manner, and to put forward ideas and practical solutions for the policies required to reduce it.
