Kuwait launches “Tayseer” platform to hire “Bidoon” instead of expatriate workers

The Public Authority for Manpower in Kuwait will launch the “Tayseer” platform next Sunday, with the aim of appointing illegal residents “Bidoon” instead of expatriate workers in the private sector.
Al-Watan newspaper quoted the director general of the authority, Ahmed Al-Mousa, as saying that this step comes in coordination with the Central Agency to deal with the situation of illegal residents.

The Kuwaiti official explained that the platform is an institutional mechanism to regulate the participation of illegal residents in the labor market in a more positive and effective manner to create more job opportunities for them.
He pointed out that the goal of this path is to replace the “Bidoon” category with expatriate workers to preserve the demographic structure, preserve their rights under a legal status, and give them adequate benefit through these opportunities, in line with their qualifications and inclinations.
Al-Mousa thanked the private sector companies for their cooperation in providing these suitable job opportunities.
He called for more cooperation with various fields of the private sector to provide more opportunities in all disciplines.
