Chinese “Xiaomi” launches a new phone with a German partnership… “A new era in photography”

The Chinese company, “Xiaomi”, announced its cooperation with a German company to manufacture its latest smartphones, which is expected to be launched next July.
And “Xiaomi” confirmed in a statement, today, Monday, its “long-term strategic cooperation” with the “Leica” company, which specializes in cameras.
This will be the German camera company’s latest mobile imaging collaboration, following its collaboration with Sharp, Huawei and Panasonic.
Xiaomi did not share in its announcement details about its next phone, but only announced the beginning of a “new era in mobile photography,” as she put it.

 

Expectations indicate that the new phone will include the new “Snapdragon” + Gen 1 processor from “Qualcomm”, in addition to the advantages of the usual classic imaging filters from the German company “Leica”.
Specialists also expected that the phone will protect the name “Xiaomi 12 Ultra”, or it may be the beginning of the “Xiaomi 13” series.
“The cooperation with Leica will provide a strong impetus to the Chinese company’s imaging strategy,” said Xiaomi CEO Li Jun.
It is noteworthy that “Xiaomi” is not the first Chinese manufacturer of smartphones to benefit from the photographic expertise of a famous camera brand. Recently, the two Chinese companies, “Oppo” and “OnePlus”, began launching phones that were jointly developed with the camera company “Hasselblad”. Including the OnePlus 10 Pro and FindX5 series.
