China responds to Biden’s statements: Washington should be careful when talking about Taiwan

Today, Monday, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin announced that Taiwan is an inalienable part of the People’s Republic of China, noting that his country will take “resolute measures to protect its sovereignty and security interests.”
The Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman commented on US President Joe Biden’s statements about his country’s readiness to participate militarily in protecting Taiwan: “We call on the US side to sincerely abide by the one-China principle and the three joint communiques between China and the United States.”
“He also likes to abide by pledges not to support Taiwan independence, and Biden should be careful with his words and actions on the Taiwan issue, and not send any misleading signals to the separatist forces in Taiwan,” Bin added.
On Monday morning, US President Joe Biden announced his country’s readiness to participate militarily to protect Taiwan in the event of a Chinese attack.
