A woman loses 114 kg and reveals the secret of success

A resident of the city of Southport in the United Kingdom completely changed her diet and lost 114 kilograms, to the amazement of doctors.

Laura Kane began to become obese since childhood and by the age of 34 she weighed 190 kilograms, according to the British newspaper, Echo Liverpool.

The woman was afraid that she would die soon because of her excess weight, especially as she suffered from swine flu, forcing doctors to connect her to a ventilator, and she also suffered from meningitis and asthma.

A few years ago, a specialist who turned to a British woman for asthma recommended surgery to reduce her weight. He noted that it would be impossible to perform the operation until she lost some weight on her own.

To achieve her goal, Ken had to completely change her diet. If earlier she had a habit, she often ate prepared food and drank tea with bread, rolls, butter and chocolate, but now she prefers breakfast cereal with yogurt or skim milk, and eats tuna salad or potatoes and chicken, Kane told the newspaper.

When her weight reached an acceptable level, the woman underwent bariatric surgery, after which her stomach shrank in size and began to eat less. Later, during the hernia operation, doctors removed three kilograms of excess skin resulting from the weight loss, and Ken commented, “It was painful, but the result was worth it. I am more confident now.”
