The US military conducts live ammunition exercises in eastern Syria

Powerful explosions rocked the eastern and northern countryside of Deir Ezzor, eastern Syria, as the “international coalition” forces led by the US army conducted military exercises with live ammunition, hours after large military reinforcements arrived.
And local sources in the countryside of Deir ez-Zor told “Sputnik” correspondent in eastern Syria that the bases of the American occupation or the so-called “international coalition” located in the “Koniko” gas field and plant and the Al-Omar oil field north of Deir ez-Zor witnessed last night and today, Sunday, May 15, training exercises Military forces with artillery and aviation in the nearby area and in the desert of Theban town in the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside.
The sources added that the aforementioned exercises involved all types of weapons and equipment in the two aforementioned bases, which were subjected to a number of missile attacks during the last period, originating from areas under the control of the Syrian Arab Army and its allied forces, west of the Euphrates River.

These exercises come with weapons and live ammunition for the US Army, hours after the arrival of more than 90 military trucks loaded with reinforcements and military equipment coming from its bases in northern Iraq, which coincides with the rise in the Arab tribal and popular rejection of its presence in eastern Syria, according to the sources.
The explosions occurred at the end of last April near the Al-Omar oil field, east of Deir ez-Zor, where the largest base of the “American coalition” is located in Syria, as a result of joint exercises between the international coalition forces and the SDF.
The regions and countryside of eastern Syria (Deir ez-Zor, Raqqa and Hasaka) are witnessing a significant increase in the popular and clan rejection of the practices of the US army and the SDF, which focus on arresting civilians, putting young men in “forced conscription” camps and stealing the internal wealth of the Syrian people.
