Actor Alec Baldwin has filed a lawsuit against the producers of the movie “Rust”, according to US media.
The Los Angeles Times noted that Baldwin insists he does not bear responsibility for Hutchins’ murder, and is seeking compensation for losses incurred in the case.
It is also noted that Baldwin asserts that he was involved in creative work only, and was not responsible for security, weapons safety and staffing.
Earlier, the family of photographer Galina Hutchins, who was killed in the accident while filming “Rust”, filed a lawsuit against actor Alec Baldwin and the film’s production crew.
The incident occurred last October, when Baldwin fired a pistol without knowing it was loaded with live bullets, killing Hutchins.
