US crude and fuel stocks fell last week

The US Energy Information Administration reported on Wednesday that crude, gasoline and distillate inventories in the country fell last week.
Reuters confirmed, this evening, Wednesday, that crude stocks fell by 1.9 million barrels last week, specifically, on the fourth of this March, to 411.6 million barrels, compared to expectations for a decrease of 657,000 barrels.
The US Energy Information Administration reported that crude stocks at the delivery center in Cushing, Oklahoma, fell 585,000 barrels last week.
In the same context, refineries’ consumption of crude decreased by 21,000 barrels per day, last week, while operating rates rose by 1.6 percentage points.
And data from the US Energy Information Administration indicated that US gasoline stocks fell by 1.4 million barrels, throughout the past week, to 244.6 million barrels, compared to expectations for a decrease of 2.1 million barrels.
As for distillate stocks, which include diesel and heating oil, they decreased by 5.2 million barrels per week to 113.9 million barrels, against expectations for a decline of 1.9 million barrels.
The US Energy Information Administration indicated that US net imports of crude last week, increased by 1.93 million barrels per day.
