Russia’s establishment of humanitarian corridors in Ukraine is a moral and political mockery

French President Emmanuel Macron stressed that his country will continue to support Ukraine and exert diplomatic pressure until the war stops as soon as possible.
Cairo – Sputnik. “The situation is getting worse every day, and we have not been able to obtain a ceasefire from Russia, and we must work to avoid civil nuclear disasters,” Macron added in an interview with the French network “LCI”, today, Monday.
“For Russia to establish humanitarian corridors in Ukraine for the return of people to its lands is a moral and political cynicism,” he added.
Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov announced that Russia had told the Ukrainian side that it could end the operation “at any moment” if Kyiv accepted the Russian conditions.
According to a Kremlin spokesman, Ukraine should amend the constitution and drop demands to join “any bloc”.
In addition, according to Peskov, Ukraine should recognize Crimea as Russian, as well as the independence of the Lugansk and Donetsk People’s Republics.
“We are actually completing the process of demilitarization of Ukraine. We will complete it. They (Ukrainians) should stop fighting,” he added.
Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a special military operation in Ukraine in response to the appeal of the presidents of the Donbass republics for help. He stressed that Moscow’s plans do not include the occupation of Ukrainian lands, the goal is to disarm the country.
As the Russian Defense Ministry noted, the Russian army does not strike cities, only disables the military infrastructure, so nothing threatens the civilian population.
