“Trust has collapsed”… Bill Gates’ ex-wife breaks her silence about the reasons for their separation

In an interview with “CBS Morning”, which was broadcast last Thursday, Gates confirmed that trust “broke down” during her marriage to Bill Gates, which eventually led to their sudden divorce.

The meeting included Melinda Gates’ comment on her ex-husband, Bill Gates, admitting he had an affair with a Microsoft employee in 2000, and her response was: “Well, I definitely believe in tolerance, so I thought we had worked through some of that, it wasn’t a moment One or one specific thing happened, there came a moment in time where there was enough that I realized our marriage wasn’t healthy, and I couldn’t trust what we had.”

Bill and Melinda Gates finalized their divorce last May, and the news of their separation was followed by reports of Melinda’s anger over her then-husband’s relations with the American businessman convicted of sexually assaulting minors, Jeffrey Epstein.
The couple founded the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation while they were together, building it into one of the world’s largest charitable organizations.

At the time the divorce papers were filed, Bill Gates’ fortune was estimated at about 130 billion dollars, and the couple did not sign a prenuptial agreement, and soon after the divorce was finalized, Bill Gates said in statements to the American network “CNN” that his separation from Melinda was A “very sad milestone” and a source of “personal grief”.
