A couple of Aleppo kebab lovers invent a machine to make it

Delicious food has always been associated with the city of Aleppo, the second largest city in Syria, and “Al-Shahba” cuisine has gained wide fame for its delicious dishes. Aleppian cuisine with the expression “incomparable”, if you enter the competition, it is easy to grab a well-deserved Aleppo morsel.
That is why the makers of traditional food of all kinds continue to work on dedicating and developing their cuisine despite all the damage caused to the city as a result of the recent terrorist war on the country, but the “good morsel” still applies to souls who taste good food and inhale the purest aromas that permeate the Aleppo cuisine.
While (kebab) is at the top of a long list of types of food, where there are more than (80) types of Aleppo kebab, a couple of the people of the city were able to manufacture a machine aimed at facilitating the work of housewives or workers in restaurants within the process of “distinguishing” that precedes Barbecue, and the result is a greater speed in serving large quantities and in a short time, than skewers of red or white meat prepared for grilling over coals, as communications engineer Khaled Atar says about the motives for making a machine called “Al-Shahba” where he tells its story:
“During the crisis, I opened a popular restaurant that offers its patrons the types of grills that my city is famous for. I loved this job (the interest) and devoted all my time to it and devoted myself to working on developing the restaurant and did not hesitate to provide the best services to all its visitors, and from here I came up with the idea that the time can be reduced in order to meet For the increasing demands, especially in the month of Ramadan, this machine was invented, which saves time, and increases the quantities produced, especially at peak times.”
Engineer Atar, with the help of his wife, who specializes in mechanical engineering, was able to work out a blueprint for their work, and find the appropriate tools to implement their machine (kebab skewering), and after continuous work, they were able to complete the machine and put it into service. Tourist, food, restaurants and hotels that have great requests for what shortens the time.”
The maker of the “kebab skewer” machine explains that to prepare meals as quickly as possible by skewering the machine, it takes only 7 seconds for each skewer, and this gives 25 kilos per hour, while the average person, in the usual, and traditional way, by joining hands, needs to combine approximately 20 skewers of kebab meat between 10 to 15 minutes while the machine makes 25 kilos per hour.
On her part, Ms. “Atar” and her support for her husband in implementing his idea played a prominent role in the success of the work, and engineer Nadia Kalajy, a graduate of mechanical engineering, explained in her speech to “Sputnik” about the nature of the machine’s work, saying: “I supported my husband with this idea because, in fact, I was fascinated by housewives. They know well how exhausting work is.”

She added: “The device consists of a 350-watt motor capable of working with two amps, and from the motor a snail comes out in a rotational motion to push the meat into the mold, as all the pieces are made of chrome material as it is suitable for the food industry. From the motor, the meat rushes to the mold, which takes the shape of the final kebab skewer.”

Engineer Kalaji believes that the motor can cope with the reality of frequent electrical cuts, that is, it works with the availability of amperes, and the shape of the mold can be controlled in the way we want, and the wife, Atar, the business partner, stated that if electricity is not available, work can be done with a manual device, although it will not be as fast and productive as The electric machine, but it makes it easier for housewives, undoubtedly, according to its description.
The couple are happy that they presented a job that will make it easier for people from home and establishments, and revealed a study to complete all stages of the grilling process to the end, and their intention to complete the barbecue production line to the end in a distinct automatic way.
