Egyptian singer Amr Diab revealed the reason for deleting his songs from his official channel on the popular YouTube video site, through his account on the Instagram website.
Amr Diab wrote: “Anghami – the new exclusive platform for the work of #Amr_Diab, amrdiab.”
Amr Diab added, “Amr Diab, the international Arab star and the best-selling artist of all time in the region, signs an exclusive partnership with Anghami, the leading music streaming and entertainment platform in the Middle East and North Africa.”
Al-Hadba Amr Diab continued, “His songs are produced by his company, Nay4Media, and all his upcoming releases of songs and videos will be provided only and exclusively through Anghami, to be available free of charge to more than 75 million users on the platform.”
Amr Diab surprised his fans by deleting all his songs from his official channel on the popular YouTube video site, with the exception of a number of his concert videos only.
A large number of Amr Diab’s fans expected to create his own music platform that would include all his albums.
It is noteworthy that there are a large number of Amr Diab’s songs that are still available on YouTube channels that are not officially affiliated with the plateau.
