James Arthur and girlfriend Jessica ‘get back together’ six months after split

James Arthur has reportedly reconciled with his girlfriend Jessica Grist six months after they called it quits on their relationship.

The 33 year old, who recently said Jessica suffered an ectopic pregnancy, met the blonde beauty on The X Factor back in 2012 when she was a back up dancer and is understood to have had an on-off romance with Jessica for nine years before their split in 2021.

The couple were believed to have split up in 2015 for two years before getting back together and then in May last year it was reported that they parted ways for a second time.

However, it’s been said the pair “stayed in touch” following their most recent break up and now they’re reportedly “back on”.

According to The Sun, the pair were seen wearing patterned outfits as they visited a specialist garage that wraps smart motors in personalised colors and logos.

A source told the publication: “They’ve had six months apart but have always stayed in touch and got on very well.

“People close to them are pleased they’re back on – there’s a definite chemistry and they’ve been together the best part of a decade. Hopefully this is a fresh start.”

“There was always something really good there,” the source added.

Fuelling rumours that they could be “back on”, Jessica posted a sweet black and white snap of herself with James leaning against a sports car three weeks ago to promote his song “Ride” which she choreographed.

In the caption, she wrote: “ride or die,” followed by a red heart emoji and a fire emoji.

Back in May 2021, the same outlet reported the pair’s split as a source told them: “James and Jessica have a lot of history, so they will always have a special place in each other’s hearts.

“But the truth is they have just grown apart and decided it wasn’t working any more.

“There was no big drama and they are still friends, but it is nevertheless a blow for both of them because they have been together for such a long time.
