Juan Vieger announced the death of the veteran Uruguayan business agent, who contributed to the completion of exorbitant deals for South American footballers, on Friday.
“It is with a heavy heart that I share with you the news of the end of 2021 without my grandfather Juan,” Stephanie Weger, a sports agent, wrote on Instagram.
“With sadness and after a struggle, he passed away today after a heart attack,” Viger’s group said on Instagram.
