20 wagons overturned after two trains collided in Uzbekistan

20 train cars derailed and overturned when two freight trains collided in Uzbekistan, local emergency services said in a statement Sunday.
The statement indicated that the accident occurred near the city of Angrin in the Uzbek province of Tashkent, where one of the two trains stopped on its tracks for technical reasons and collided with another train, which led to the overturning of 20 wagons, 14 of which were transporting coal, while 16 wagons were empty of goods.

The emergency services stated that the captain of one of the two trains and his assistant were injured as a result of the accident and were taken to hospital.
