British media reported that the match between Leicester City and Tottenham Hotspur in the English Premier League, which was scheduled for Thursday, was postponed due to the outbreak of Covid-19.
This is the third game canceled for Tottenham due to the virus, after a match against Rennes in the European Conference League last week and another against Brighton & Hove Albion in the domestic league at the weekend.
The Brentford match with Manchester United, yesterday, Tuesday, was postponed, as a result of an outbreak of the “Omicron” mutant of the Corona virus, and Burnley’s match with Watford, on Wednesday, became the third Premier League match, to be postponed within one week.
