According to a report published today and based on customs data, exports of vaccines for humans reached a record level last October, as quantities were shipped during this month, equal to shipments of vaccines exported from Russia during the last summer period.
And the “RPK” website stated that vaccine exports from Russia, which grew thanks to “Sputnik V”, have exceeded their value since the beginning of the year at the level of 1.2 billion dollars, while shipments last October amounted to 356 million dollars.
Russia has developed several vaccines to combat the emerging corona virus, and “Sputnik V” is the most prominent, and this Russian vaccine is considered the first vaccine against the Corona virus in the world, and earlier, the famous medical journal “Lancet” reported that the results of the third phase of clinical trials of the Russian vaccine showed that Its effectiveness is more than 90%.
Yesterday, the Russian Fund for Direct Investments, which is involved in the development of the “Sputnik” vaccine, considered the development of “Sputnik V” the most important achievement of the fund’s team in 10 years.
