Tesla CEO Elon Musk is officially homeless after selling a villa in Hillsboro, California.
According to the American “Fox News” channel, the billionaire sold the villa “which was the last home of the businessman”, which has an area of 19 hectares, for $ 32 million, while the name of the buyer remains unknown.
The TV channel reported that the property, called Guignecourt, was built in 1912 by French Count Christian de Guigne. He married a California heiress to a large fortune during the “gold rush” (the period of massive gold mining).
In May 2020, Elon Musk announced his intention to sell nearly all of his holdings. According to him, in the near future he will not have a single house.
As of December 4, 2021, the businessman’s fortune fell by $15.2 billion after Tesla’s shares fell to $268.9 billion, Bloomberg reported. On December 8, Musk had $278 billion in assets.
