A computer teacher in Gaza City was able to build a robot that helps students in studying, by attracting their attention and focus, as the robot interacts with students and helps them integrate into the lesson.
The creator of the robot, Hassan Al-Razi, confirmed that the idea behind this innovation is to make the educational process simplified and easy for students in schools.
Al-Razi told Sputnik, “The robot industry went through several stages over a period of two months, starting with the planning stage and then the preparation stage and bringing the necessary materials, and we had difficulty obtaining the electronic supplies necessary to design the robot due to the blockade, but we were able to provide a local alternative. successful”.
“Mr. Robot” or the educational robot moves with Mr. Hassan from class to class, and upon entering he greets the students, then reviews the assignments and the previous lesson with them, and then announces to the students their correct answers in a fun and interesting atmosphere.
Student Farah Sayed, a student at Al-Basma Modern School in Gaza City, says: “I liked the robot very much, especially since it speaks and can walk between classes, and my colleagues and I liked the lesson in its presence. His presence in school and I hope that he will be present in all school lessons, as he makes the lesson useful, beautiful and interesting.”
The unique robot in the Gaza Strip, was a dream for children in school, and it has come true, and it needs to be developed, and this is what Hassan Al-Razi is working on with the help of other teachers, and looks forward to linking it with artificial intelligence, in order to be generalized to all schools in the Gaza Strip, and provides a new method that raises achievement science for students.
