Britney Spears said she had “the best day ever” after a Los Angeles court on Friday ended the custody of the pop star who had ruled her life for 13 years.
The pop star, 39, has struggled to end the complex legal arrangements that were imposed on her in 2008.
Expressing her overwhelming happiness, she tweeted, “I love my fans so much. It’s crazy!!! I think I’ll cry for the rest of the day!!!! It’s the most beautiful day ever.. Thank God.”

And in recent months, Britney was allowed to hire her own lawyer, as she appointed the famous Hollywood lawyer, Matthew Rosengart, and applied to the court for the accreditation of an accountant under her tutelage, after she filed abuse cases against her father, James Spears.
Spears was placed under guardianship and assigned to her father after she suffered a general breakdown and was undergoing treatment for undisclosed psychological problems.
