Bitcoin breaks two records in one day

Bitcoin price renewed for the second time in a day its historic maximum and rose above $68,000, according to trading data.

The price of the cryptocurrency, earlier in the night, exceeded $67,000.

According to the CoinMarketCap portal, the price of Bitcoin increased by 4.93 percent, to $68.4 thousand.

The price of the world’s most popular cryptocurrency has returned to record levels, once again refreshing its all-time high. The previous record, set on October 20, was $67,000.

The price of Bitcoin rose for the second month in a row, as it rose last month by about 40%, to $ 61.3 thousand from $43.82 thousand.
In September, after two months of strong growth, the price of bitcoin fell somewhat – about 35 percent in total. After hitting the record in April, the cryptocurrency could not gain a foothold at this level, and in May it lost almost a third of its value – then its price fell to 37.3 thousand dollars from 57.7 thousand.
