Mark Zuckerberg announces the creation of a “robot skin” to touch objects in the virtual world

The founder of Facebook (currently dead), announced a new innovation that will enhance the recently announced virtual world experience under the name “Metaverse”.

Today, Monday, Zuckerberg said, “The artificial intelligence research team in his company has conducted interesting new research in which it is possible to perceive the world through touch.”

Zuckerberg explained that his research team designed a high-precision touch sensor, in cooperation with Carnegie Mellon University, to create what can be described as a thin robotic skin.

Zuckerberg attributed the importance of this new innovation to the fact that it brings the world a step closer to making things in the virtual world appear realistic, allowing physical interactions in the virtual world “Metaverse”.

Earlier, Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg announced the change of the name of Facebook (the parent company) to “Meta” starting last Thursday, with the sites retaining their names as they are.

Zuckerberg said during the presentation of the company “Metaverse”, “From today onwards, we will be called Meta.” That you can always build something new.
