The Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa, hosted the “African Fashion Show”, which aims to highlight the diversity of African dress, with the participation of 27 countries.
A number of senior African fashion designers participated in the exhibition, which started last Friday and lasted for five days, in an African carnival scene of many colors and forms, reflecting the cultural richness of the peoples of the continent and their ethnic diversity.
Among the participants in the exhibition, the son of the late Jamaican American pop star Bob Marley, where he and his band performed artistic performances, after which the musician toured Addis Ababa and got acquainted with the main tourist attractions in the city.

African fashion and its designers were able to change the world fashion map, after their costumes gained a special place in the world of fashion and fashion throughout the Western and African continents. African designs have a special charm and character that distinguishes them.

The 2021 African Fashion Show, organized by the African Union, is a platform for African designers to stand out and work together, opening the door for them to engage in joint business activities, under the slogan “Africa: The New Inspiration for Global Fashion”.
