“Forever is Now” .. an exhibition of art sculptures next to the Egyptian pyramids

The fourth edition of the “Forever Is Now” exhibition was launched on the 23rd of October, next to the Egyptian Pyramids of Giza.

Cairo – Sputnik. The exhibition, which continues until November 7, is the first art exhibition to be held in the pyramids area.
And 10 artworks by famous plastic artists from different countries of the world of different nationalities, including Egypt, America, France, the United Kingdom, Spain, Russia, Saudi Arabia and others, will participate in the exhibition.

The participating artists were inspired by their models from pharaonic symbols and values, such as the sun boat, two large palms embracing each other and parts of incomplete pyramids that represent a reflection of the real pyramids, and one of the pyramids of Giza appears as a background for every artwork from any direction.

In an interview with the agency “Sputnik”, the British artist “Mosley”, participating in the exhibition by making “The Path of Light” in partnership with another British artist, said that “her work, which represents incomplete pyramids, represents a dialogue with the pyramids, not a direct reflection with her, but rather a dialogue with her.”

She asserts that the idea came to her by “playing with some parts of the glass and lighting and we tried to form this shape, but the final design took a few months and was very difficult and complicated, especially with regard to choosing angles and lighting.”

And about her participation in the first exhibition held in the pyramids area, the British artist, who came to Egypt specifically to participate in the exhibition, says, “There are many philosophical theories about the pyramids that inspired her,” stressing that she considers the participation of one of her works in this exhibition “a very important event for her.” .

It is noteworthy that the exhibition “Forever Until Now” is held in prominent archaeological sites, where the first version was held in the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir in 2017, the second was in Prince Muhammad Ali Palace in Manial in 2018, and the third was in the oldest heritage cities, Historic Cairo in 2019.
