The secret of Angelina Jolie publishing recent photos from the pyramids of Egypt

The American star, Angelina Jolie, surprised her fans on the “Instagram” photo and video site, by publishing recent photos of the Egyptian pyramids of Giza.

Angelina Jolie indicated that the pictures she published, yesterday, Friday, were photographed by her friend, the international artist, JR, and that he sent them to her from Egypt, where he is present to participate in an exhibition currently under the name “Forever is Now”.

The pictures show a metal structure and a steel grille designed by JR, which he placed from a specific angle in front of the pyramid of Khafre, to create an illusion for those standing in front of it and looking at it.

JR also noted that he hid a total of 743 hieroglyphs randomly throughout his painting.

The 14th edition of the “Forever Is Now” exhibition kicked off at the Giza Pyramids on Thursday, October 21, and ends on November 7.

Forever Is Now is the first contemporary art exhibition to be held at the Pyramids of Giza in more than 4,500 years, and will see the participation of 10 contemporary artists who have created site-specific works that respond to the iconic landscape of the pyramids and the surrounding Giza plateau, among them Russian artist Alexander Ponomarev, JR, and Moataz. Nasr, Sherine Gerges, and Prince Sultan bin Fahd.

It is also the first time that the organizers of the exhibition, Art d’Egypte, have invited contemporary artists to participate in it, integrating their artworks with the historical site.
